Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center Named Top Performer by The Joint Commission
DENVER – (Nov. 20, 2015) – Today, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center was named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America. The designation recognizes outstanding safety, quality and patient care.
Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center earned the distinction of Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measure performance. The ratings are based on an aggregation of accountability measure data reported to The Joint Commission during the 2014 calendar year.
Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center is one of four HealthONE hospitals named a Top Performer. "This is a distinction we are incredibly proud of," said Sylvia Young, CEO of HealthONE and HCA’s Continental Division, "because it validates our commitment to improving the quality of life, every day through the work we do at our hospitals. In addition to being included in this year's release of The Joint Commission's "Improving Quality and Safety" annual report, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center has been recognized on The Joint Commission’s Quality Check website.
