The Mothers’ Milk Bank screens, collects, processes and dispenses donated human milk as a community service, providing human milk to babies whose own mothers cannot supply the milk to meet their baby’s needs.
Human milk is a miracle. It is one that can and should be shared. The components of milk are unmatched by any commercial formula: immune properties, growth factors, hormones, enzymes and many other factors that optimize the health of infancts are present.
The Mothers' Milk Bank was started in 1984 and we celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2009. Donated milk is sent to 26 different states and to more more than 40 hospitals from our location.
The Mothers’ Milk Bank is owned and is a department of the Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, a 501 (c ) (3) charitable organization.
