Amanda Veit, Chief Nursing Officer

Amanda is the current Chief Nursing Officer for Presbyterian/St. Luke’s (P/SL) and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. She joined the P/SL team in October 2014 as the VP of Surgical Services and Service Line Operations where she transformed staff and leadership culture, improved operational efficiencies, built physician relationships, improved staffing and reduced leadership overhead. Prior to her role at P/SL, Amanda was the Senior Director of Peri-Operative Services at Saint Joseph Hospital and Clinical Manager at Kaiser Permanente in Denver. She received her Masters of Business Administration from University of Colorado at Denver and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Medical University of South Carolina.

Amanda moved to Denver from Charleston, SC, where most of her family still resides. She and her husband, Andrew, are proud parents of two dogs (Yorkie and Black Lab) and love to ski, bike, fish and host dinner parties in their off time.
