Due to an autoimmune-triggered issue, Jamey Feger required quarterly blood tests and he knew one day he would need a kidney transplant. On Christmas Eve in 2014, that fateful news came when tests came back that he was in renal failure that required him to be on dialysis and join the transplant list. Jamey’s out-of-state cousin found he was a match and decided to save Jamey through living donation. The Presbyterian/St. Luke’s team moved fast and rearranged schedules to make this transplant happen quickly. Today, Jamey is living a healthy, happy life with his beautiful family.
